How I Can Help as an EMDR Therapist

My name is Kandace Ledergerber (she/her). I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Yoga Teacher*, specializing in EMDR therapy. As a therapist, I value inclusivity and creating a safe space for those who are marginalized because all people should be able to show up as exactly who they are and heal. I help anxious, stressed out, overwhelmed overachievers who have past trauma invading their lives to find balance and space to breathe and uproot negative messages that keep them running in circles by using leading-edge brain science techniques. I also integrate yoga-based movements and breathing techniques to help you find a space where you can release, breathe, and leave the therapy session with tools to use in your real life.  And, if what we do doesn't work, we’ll work as a team to change things up or find you a referral that will work. I care more about you actually healing and making progress and living a healed life full of joy and authenticity more than anything else.

Fees and Services

 

Individual EMDR Therapy Sessions are 90-minutes weekly

We spend the first 10/15 minutes checking in and discussing how the recent week has been. We can then use the remaining time to find grounding skills that work for you as resources to help you feel like you are on solid ground and process the trauma that keeps you stuck. Clinically, I have found this works best to give balance between the talk therapy aspect and processing with EMDR.

During your consultation, we’ll figure out the best time for weekly sessions. We do this so this time can be protected and you know we won’t schedule something else during your session time.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel with at least 24-hours’ notice to avoid being charged the full session fee. If you are not able to attend via video, we can do a phone session for that week.

Individual EMDR Therapy Sessions offered virtually in Florida and Arizona.

Offered online from the comfort of your own home or in our Tempe office location.This is designed for individuals to process traumatic experiences and negative life events that perpetuate triggers, anxiety, and perfectionism to build resources so you can start feeling better. Sessions are offered for 90-minutes weekly to give consistent support so you can move out of carrying those messages around with you and start feeling better.
